Friendship
By: Steven F. and Matthew S.
So, Matthew and I have had a lot of friends. Most of them we’ve managed to keep for awhile, but some just don’t work out. I’m sure you knew this already, but here are a few ways to find friends. And keep them. For a long time (hopefully for a lifetime).
How to Get Friends (in a convenient list!)
By: Matthew S.
Talk to people that are like you.
Play more and more internet games.
Do NOT purposely hurt them. That’s ITE ( It’s The End or Institute of Transportation Engineers you choose).
When you hurt your friend, give them some form of consolidation.
DO NOT belittle them behind their back.
They will then talk about YOU behind YOUR back.
During their birthday, go to their birthday parties with a good gift that you as a friend, think that they will like.
Don’t take everything they say or do literally. Sometimes that’s just a joke.
How to Keep Friends (In another convenient list!)

Try to be nice to your friends.
Do fun things, like play video games or make Mentos bombs with them.
Do NOT accidentally blow up your friend. That would make them sad/angry/hurt.
If you do accidentally blow up your friend or cause them some other form of negatively-connotated feeling, such as sadness or self-consciousness, apologize immediately.
In all seriousness, try not to hurt your friend’s feelings. This can cause a lot of things, none of which are friendly.
Stick up for them! If a friend is being bullied, don’t just sit and watch, help them “fight the bully”! Besides, don’t you owe them something for letting you copy their math homework?
If your BEST FRIEND does any of these things, it was most likely an accident. I would try to be forgiving, because your best friend will reciprocate.
Just try to be nice, joke around a little, and remember that the whole purpose for friendship is fun.
*REMEMBER* If, metaphorically or literally (In this case, literally), you fall down, your friend will help you up. Your best friend, on the other hand, will help you up AFTER THEY FINISH LAUGHING!
Great advice, guys…great vocab, too!
You are right !! Friends are Fun, so just sit back, relax and enjoy them while they last.
