Bam. Boooooooo. Jeremy Abbott just failed in his triple-axle landing and slammed into his wall. He came away with a score of 65.65. This was just the start of a magnificent Winter Olympics. This is the first Winter Olympics that I’ve got to see.
Now I skipped the opening ceremony but I just got on to NBC news 3 minutes late. That must be some really short opening. So far, I liked watching Yuzuru Hanyu’s performance for Japan. He is nineteen and so far, he’s in first place with a score of 97.89. I thought: ” Hey, he’s a teenager. Eh. He doesn’t care about who that Plushenko guy is. All he cares about is win win win.”
And in truth, he did get first place.
So far.
I also watched some of the pair figure skating, snowboarding, and skiing. So far, no one has failed exceptionally. I’m actually excited to see the snowboarding competition with all the new obstacles and snow covered-hay hills. I hope that this going to make a good impression on me and on the Winter Olympics.
I haven’t watched too much of this year’s Winter Olympics, but I’ve heard that they haven’t turned out to well this year. I guess I’ll have to watch more closely!
The US is doing horribly for our normal standard. So it’s good that you like the other teams
