Today I went to our neighborhood Fall Fest. There were lots of food, animals, and even a clown! Last year there was Italian food; this year there was Mexican food. However, the cotton candy and kettle corn vendors are still there. I played freeze tag with my friends at the playscape. It was very fun and exciting and we fell down a lot.
Then I went to the petting zoo. The people who ran the pony rides told me that I was too big or too old to ride on them. So, instead of riding the ponies, I went to the petting zoo. Inside the petting zoo, there were two goats, about five chickens, four rabbits, two piggies, and one duck. There was a little wicker basket that was full of little chickens and ducks. At first I thought that you were only allowed to pet them so that is all I did. My friend was picking up the chickens so I followed suit. In the end, I picked up the all of the animal except for the pigs and the goats. Getting the rabbits into my arms were the hardest of them all.
Out of all the exhibits and food, I liked the petting zoo the best. I still miss the pony rides but I found a new thing to do-visit the petting zoo.
